London, August 29 : Singer LeAnn Rimes reveals that she was prepared by her parents to be a star as a kid.
The singer confesses that she was taught to be perfect and trained to be famous which turned out too much for her.
"Dad managed me, Mom travelled everywhere with me and so much of what happened to me was great," Contactmusic quoted Rimes, as saying.
"But coming from the South, there was always this obsession with me being prim and proper and I was constantly schooled in what to say and how to behave.
"So inevitably there came a point when I had to find out who LeAnn Rimes the person was, as opposed to LeAnn Rimes the celebrity."
The 24-year-old filed a lawsuit against her father in 2000, claiming he stole 7 million dollars of her earnings. However, the two have since reconciled.
