The Pirates Of The Caribbean actress holds sheer luck responsible for her success rather than her acting talents.
Knightley says that being in the right place at the right time is what made her reach the highpoints of fame.
"If the first Pirates Of The Caribbean film had been the failure everyone predicted that it would be, then I might not have worked again," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.
"I am a great believer in luck. I have a lucky charm bracelet. It is my grandfather's watch chain with my grandmother's charms, plus various additions. My agent added a sword and a boat at the start of pirates for example," she added.
