Tom Welling may play Superman in next Justice League flick

Television star Tom Welling has reportedly been offered Supermans role in the next Justice League movie.

Melbourne, Aug. 26 : Television star Tom Welling has reportedly been offered Superman's role in the next 'Justice League' movie.

Sources have revealed that Welling, well known for playing Clark Kent on the current TV series 'Smallville', has been given a proposal to portray the superhero.

According to Moviehole, a Warner Bros. source has also said that Welling might have been in the producer's consideration for playing the part.

The source, however, did not give any clear confirmation as to whether the actor has been approached by the producers or not.

Meanwhile, a report published in entertainment website IESB has revealed that computer graphic techniques will be used in some parts of the film, like underwater scenes.

It still remains to be confirmed whether Christian Bale will be reprising his role of Batman in the movie.
