Pop star Britney Spears has reportedly been under surveillance of an animal charity ever since her dog was seen wearing a cast recently.
Washington, August 26 : Pop star Britney Spears has reportedly been under surveillance of an animal charity ever since her dog was seen wearing a cast recently.
A team of activists from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals visited Britney's home in Los Angeles on Saturday, in order to ensure that the dog was getting adequate medical treatment after the injury.
The singer's young sons Jayden James and Sean Preston had allegedly injured the pet terrier, due to which he suffered a broken a leg.
"We have received various sources of complaints throughout the day. Some said that Britney's Yorkie dog was injured and had a cast on and some said the dog had a broken leg and was not treated, "contactmusic quoted SPCA President Madeline Bernstein as telling TMZ.com.
"After the calls started pouring in, we did go to Britney's house but were just able to leave a note with the housekeeper. The matter is not if the dog had an accident, but if the dog is getting proper care," Bernstein added.
