Washington, Aug 25 : While Lindsay Lohan's career has received a set back due to her recent problems, movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has come forward to support the troubled starlet.
The American film producer insisted in an interview on Entertainment Tonight, that the 21-year-old, who is in rehab in the Cirque Lodge treatment centre in Utah, was a 'wonderful actress' and he would not mind taking her in his film when she gets out of it.
"She's a wonderful actress. She did a great job in Bobby. Lindsay is a wonderful talent," US magazine quoted Weinstein, as saying.
"I just hope that Lindsay is fine. She's a good lady," he said.
Weinstein said that people forget that Lohan was just a kid prone to making mistakes.
"You know, we keep forgetting they're kids. They're making mistakes. Hopefully, they'll clean it up and somebody will kick their butts," he said.
