Foxy Brown handed jail term for probation violation

After Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan its now Foxy Browns turn to serve prison time, for the rapper has been handed a jail term for allegedly violating her probation after her arrest in the Blackberry incident.

Washington, Aug 23 : After Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan its now Foxy Brown's turn to serve prison time, for the rapper has been handed a jail term for allegedly violating her probation after her arrest in the Blackberry incident.

The 29-year-old was remanded to state custody and ordered a jail term by Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson, until a hearing on September 5.

According to the Associated Press, Brown's jail term came following her two recent legal run-ins, People magazine reports.

Last week, she surrendered to police over allegations that she hit her Brooklyn neighbour with her BlackBerry device, and just one day later Mahwah, N.J. police caught her for talking on her mobile while driving her 2007 Land Rover.

The police claimed that the rapper did not stop at a sign, as she was busy chatting and she gave false birth date and a variation of her. She was forced to admit her real identity, and the police learnt that she was driving with a suspended license.

The officers took Brown to a station and issued her seven traffic tickets before releasing her and suspending her Land Rover's registration.
