New York, Aug 22 : Supermodel turned talk show host Tyra Banks has split with her manager, Benny Medina.
According to a joint statement, Medina insisted that while his Handprint Entertainment will no longer be taking care of Banks' career, he was looking forward to future ventures with her.
"Tyra Banks is a highly regarded artist, entrepreneur and producer, and I respect her vision for developing her own bankable brand. Tyra and Handprint Entertainment look forward to the opportunity to work together on existing or new ventures. 'This is a great thing for everyone involved'," New York Daily News quoted Medina, as saying.
Meanwhile according to a source at TelePictures, Banks was tired of Medina's suggestions and demands.
"His perk list is bigger than hers. Everything from private jets and votive candles that the staff has to light before he gets to the set. He forgot who the star was," the source said.
However, TelePictures rep dismissed these reports.
"We have a good relationship with Benny, and we appreciate his contributions to the show. He will continue as an executive consultant on the show," the rep said.
Rumours are also rife that Banks newfound beau investment manager John Utendahl might have suggested for the break up, her pal has denied the speculations.
"John had nothing to do with this," the pal said.
