Washington, Aug 22 : A sculpture honouring the association between legendary rock group 'The Beatles' and Russia was unveiled at The Beatles Story museum Liverpool, England on August 21.
The figurine created by Russian artist Nikolay Rogatnev has named it 'The Music Of The Beatles Unites The Earth', reports Contactmusic.
The work is inspired by the annoyance Beatles fans in Russia faced when they tried to buy the band's albums in the sixties.
Rogatnev wishes that cities that are closely related to the four member band will display similar statues,.
Beatle's history has a prominent association with Liverpool, the band's native, Hamburg, Germany, where the band performed a long-standing residency in the early 1960s and New York, USA, where the group's frontman John Lennon assassinated.
