British comedian Rowan Atkinson has indicated that the Mr. Bean franchise might have come to an end.
Washington, Aug. 22 : British comedian Rowan Atkinson has indicated that the 'Mr. Bean' franchise might have come to an end.
The 52-year-old star recently starred in sequel Mr. Bean's Holiday, which arrived 10 years after 1997's Bean.
He says that he does not like working too often, and that he will be too old to star as Mr. Bean in next 10 years.
"There are a couple of reasons (why another Mr. Bean film is unlikely to get made). I am feeling a bit old for it actually or I think I soon will be," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Moviehold.net.
"(And) I don't like to work very much or very often so it means to wait ten years to make a sequel is in Hollywood terms ridiculous. We would be on Bean 4 or 5 now if it was a Hollywood franchise. But because it is just something that I do when I can be bothered it only happens every ten years," he added.
