Washington, Aug 21 : Actress Mary-Kate Oslen dropped out of New York University because she felt unsafe there as her classmates spied on her.
The 21-year-old, who joined the university with twin sister Ashley in September 2004, quit in October 2005 as some of the fellow students sold stories about them to tabloids.
The actress insisted that the students even got course credits for passing the snitches to the glossies that were happy to receive dispatches from the classroom
"They'd have internships at the weeklies," Contactmusic quoted Oslen, as saying.
"Learning is not fun if you're not safe," she said.
