Madonnas adopted son David Bandas biological dad Yohane fears that the toddler might not survive if he is sent back to live in Malawi.
Washington, Aug 20 : Madonna's adopted son David Banda's biological dad Yohane fears that the toddler might not survive if he is sent back to live in Malawi.
The adoption process has been in troubled waters recently with Penstone Kilembe, director of Malawi's Ministry of Child Welfare, who was overseeing the adoption was banned by his government from travelling to the UK, where he was to spend a week with the couple to determine if they were fit parents.
At the time, Mr Kilembe said that banning him from travelling could see the adoption process "crumble".
Now, David's father has spoken out, and insists that the little boy is better off with Madge and hubby Guy Ritchie, for the two can give him the sort of life that would not be possible in Malawi.
"I wouldn't love it if David came home because he may not survive here in our poor conditions," Contactmusic quoted Yohane Banda, as saying.
Baby David has been in Madonna and her hubby Guy Ritchie's care for the past nine months.
