London, Aug. 15 : Doctors have given Opera singer Luciano Pavarotti a clean bill of health, says his manager.
Terri Robson says that the star will be discharged from hospital soon, although she did not reveal any particular date for the same.
The 71-year-old singer was admitted to a hospital in his hometown of Medena in Italy on 8 August after he was afflicted by a fever.
Robson, who visited him on Monday, dismissed reports in the Italian media that claimed that Pavarotti had pneumonia.
She further said that the tenor was in "wonderfully high spirits".
"He is looking forward to getting back to teaching his young singing pupils as soon as he is out," the BBC quoted her as saying.
"Next month, he plans to get back into his Modena recording studio to resume work on his new album of sacred songs," she added.
In recent years, Pavarotti has been plagued by ill health. In March 2005, he had neck surgery to repair two vertebrae, while a bout of laryngitis forced him to cancel an appearance at a Three Tenors concert in Mexico last June.
He had surgery to remove a pancreatic tumour at a New York hospital in July 2006.
The singer, who had been preparing to resume his farewell tour at the time of his operation, has not made any public appearances since then.
