Troubled actress Lindsay Lohans parents have decided to settle their divorce case amicably, to save the young star from the embarrassment of a heated court trail.

London, Aug 14 : Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan's parents have decided to settle their divorce case amicably, to save the young star from the embarrassment of a heated court trail.

On August 10 after a preliminary court hearing in Long Island, the 21-year-old's mum Dina Lohan said they are working on an agreement.

"I'm happy we're working on an agreement," THE Sun quoted Dina Lohan, as saying.

Michael Lohan has been barred form seeing his three youngest children said that he is looking forward to being reunited with his children.

"Dina and I are working everything out, and we will have an agreement signed by next Friday," he said.

"I hope to be reunited with my children very shortly and be a part of their lives,' he added.

The couple filed for divorce in 2005 and they have at loggerheads regarding the case ever since.
