New York, Aug. 14 : Eric Clapton's former girlfriend has admitted to having a fling with former 'Beatle' George Harrison after her four-year-old son, Conor, with the former fell to his death from a Manhattan high-rise apartment.
Lory del Santo describes the three-day affair in Hiroshima, Japan, in 1991 as a "sweet revenge" for both of them.
While Harrison was paying back Clapton for stealing his wife Pattie Boyd, Del Santo felt frozen out by Clapton after Conor's death in March 1991.
In her new book 'Wonderful Today', Boyd has revealed how Clapton's drinking and womanizing destroyed their marriage.
"Life was one big party fueled by vast amounts of alcohol," the New York Daily News quoted The Mail as publishing the excerpts from the book, along with a report on Del Santo's television interview with journalist Daphne Barak.
Boyd, who left Harrison in 1974 after Clapton wrote the song "Layla" for her, has also described in her book the night when she asked him if she looked all right, and he responded by playing the song "Wonderful Tonight".
