Jennifer Aniston and Bryce Dallas Howard directed short films are set for a screening at the 13th edition of the Palm Springs Festival of Short Films.

Washington, Aug 14 : Jennifer Aniston and Bryce Dallas Howard directed short films are set for a screening at the 13th edition of the Palm Springs Festival of Short Films.

Aniston directed a hospital emergency room-set short film named 'Room 10' while Howard directed 'Orchids', as part of Glamour magazine's 'Reel Moments' series.

The film festival from Aug. 23-29 will screen 332 films, including shorts starring James Gandolfini, Joe Mantegna, Patrick Stewart and Robin Wright Penn, Variety magazine reports.

The fest includes movies based on themes such as war, horror, gay and lesbian lifestyles and animation.

The film festival, which screens entries from 40 countries, has been nominated as a qualifying festival by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

A total of 14,000-dollar cash prizes will be awarded in nine categories during the film festival.
