Chris Noth to reprise Mr. Big role in Sex and the City flick

Actor Chris Noth is set to star in the upcoming Sex and the City flick.

Washington, Aug 11 : Actor Chris Noth is set to star in the upcoming 'Sex and the City' flick.

The 52-year-old will reprise his role as Mr. Big in the film, based on the hit HBO series, the Hollywood Reporter reports.

Actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon will also be back with Noth in the new romantic comedy that will be distributed by New Line Cinema.

The film, which is to be directed by the hit show's executive producer Michael Patrick King, is set to begin production in September in New York.

Noth stars on NBC's 'Law and Order: Criminal Intent', which also shoots in New York, and will work on both projects simultaneously.
