Hip-hop mogul Sean Diddy Combs was left shocked when his favourite Mayback limousine worth 350,000 pounds went missing during a party in the French Riviera, but all his worries vanished when he discovered that it was just a prank being played by Rocker Rod Stewarts daughter Kimberly.
London, Aug. 1 : Hip-hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs' was left shocked when his favourite Mayback limousine worth 350,000 pounds went missing during a party in the French Riviera, but all his worries vanished when he discovered that it was just a prank being played by Rocker Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly.
It all happened while Diddy was throwing a yacht party in St. Tropez for Hollywood stars, including Penelope Cruz.
According to reports, 27-year-old Kimberly decided to take the car for a spin to Cannes with another of her friends.
When Diddy did not find his car, he panicked and stopped partying.
"Diddy did not see the funny side at first. He had no idea it was a practical joke. He thought it was stolen," the Mirror quoted a partygoer as saying.
"He had his flunkies on a wild goose chase looking all over the place for his car - it's his baby," the source added.
The source further said that Kimberly was not drinking at the party, and was waiting for the moment when guests would be too tipsy to notice her and her friend dash off.
"Diddy and his minders were stressing out until someone piped up that they had seen Kimberly running off giggling with the keys and a friend in tow," said the source.
The car was returned to Diddy the next morning.
A spokesperson for Kimberly declined to comment, but said that she is a very good friend of Diddy.
