Damon dreads confrontations in real life

Actor Matt Damon will take a sprint rather than reciprocate with blows if anyone ever attacks him.

London, Aug 1 : Actor Matt Damon will take a sprint rather than reciprocate with blows if anyone ever attacks him.

The 36-year-old star, who plays a hand-to-hand combat expert Jason Bourne in the trilogy of Bourne movies, dreads confrontations in real life.

"I'm really good at running, that is what I'd do," the Mirror quoted him as saying in response to a question as to how would he defend himself if he was attacked.

Damon has also admitted that he put on weight while shooting The Bourne Ultimatum, the last of the trilogy that releases on August 17.

He eased up on training sessions so as to get home to his wife and baby daughter.

"By the end of the movie they are shooting around my belly," he said.
