London, Aug 1 : It seems Britney Spears is desperately looking for some good songwriters, for the singer made umpteen calls to pop duo 'Lucky Twice' to pen her comeback album. Unfortunately for the singer, they turned her down.
The Swedish band, which is signed to Family Tree Music, consists of fifteen year old Hannah Reynold and sixteen year old Sofie Larsson.
According to a source at the record label there was 'desperation' in Britney's calls and she was willing to pay a good amount to the girls.
"The girls were flattered. Britney was obviously willing to pay them very generously and we did feel a sense of desperation in her calls," the Sun quoted the source, as saying.
The girls however did not take the offer as they were busy promoting their new album 'Young and Clever' after giving the first hit single 'Lucky' across Europe.
"Of course we felt bad but we wish Britney all the best," the source said.
