aden + anais(R) Announces a Special Edition Designer Collection for (aden + anais)RED

December 1, 2014 - NEW YORK, NY

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - December 01, 2014) - Global baby brand aden + anais® and (RED)® today announced a designer collaboration with Jessica Alba, Gwen Stefani and Rachel Zoe for a limited edition organic swaddle pack to benefit the Global Fund and empower parents to take action towards an AIDS-free generation. Launching on December 1, 2014 to coincide with World AIDS Day, 25% of the retail price (100% of aden + anais' profits) from every aden + anais (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition Designer Collection 3-pack will go to the Global Fund to fight AIDS and help end mother-to-child HIV transmission.

"We are proud to stand alongside Jessica Alba, Gwen Stefani and Rachel Zoe, who are not only mothers but also devoted advocates for the safety and well-being of children, to engage all parents to help bring the world closer to an AIDS-free generation," says Raegan Moya-Jones, aden + anais Co-Founder and CEO.

The new aden + anais (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition Designer Collection 3-pack includes three organic swaddles made from soft and breathable 100% GOTS certified organic cotton muslin, each featuring a different designer custom print. These prints include an arrow-inspired pattern designed by Jessica Alba for The Honest Company, a Harajuku Lovers pattern designed by Gwen Stefani, and a paisley pattern designed by Rachel Zoe.

"Growing up safe and healthy shouldn't be a privilege, no matter where you're born on this planet," said Jessica Alba, Founder of The Honest Company. "A mother's passion to protect her loved ones and see them thrive is universal. I'm proud to partner again with aden + anais and (RED) to support the Global Fund and help provide sustainable responses that address the full spectrum of needs for those suffering from HIV and AIDS. I'm a mother and I know that when I see my children, I see the future -- I want every parent to know that hope is possible starting today."

"It breaks my heart to know that every day hundreds of children are born HIV positive from preventable mother-to-child HIV transmission," said Gwen Stefani. "It's a privilege to partner with Jessica, Rachel, the Global Fund, aden + anais, and (RED) for this very worthwhile cause, giving us all the opportunity to be part of the solution in fighting AIDS."

"As a mother, it is devastating to know that so many parents in the countries hit hardest by AIDS are struggling to provide care to the children who need it most," said Rachel Zoe. "Collaborating with aden + anais and (RED) on this project was so important to me -- The Global Fund is helping these parents not only by getting the proper medicine, but preventative treatment so that we can help end mother-to-child HIV transmission. I am so honored to be part of this special collaboration with Jessica Alba and Gwen Stefani -- two extraordinary women, incredible mothers and dear friends."

The aden + anais (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition Designer Collection 3-pack marks the second phase of aden + anais' partnership with (RED). The first aden + anais (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition Collection included five products that launched earlier this year: two different swaddle packs, a dream blanket, snap bibs and burpy bibs®.

The aden + anais (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition Designer Collection 3-pack of organic swaddles will retail for $54.95 and will be sold at adenandanais.com, honest.com, and specialty boutiques across the US. More information on the collection and the cause will be available at red.org.
