February 6, 2014 - NEW YORK, NY
World Moto, Inc. (OTCBB: FARE) (OTCQB: FARE) (BERLIN: WM7) (BERLIN: A1J8SY) ("World Moto" or the "Company") is pleased to announce today that it has received an invitation to attend Americade in Lake George, New York. Changing the way the world goes around, World Moto is a global authority on the $500 billion dollar a year motorcycle taxi industry and inventor of the Moto-Meter, Wheelies, and Yes.
World Moto recently received an invitation from Christian Dutcher, the Director of Americade, to demonstrate its revolutionary Wheelies technology at Americade, the World's Largest Motorcycle Touring Convention from June 2-7, 2014 at Lake George, New York. Americade is an annual rally called the "Best Riding Event in the US," and attracts more than 100,000 motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world. The expo consists of hundreds of motorcycle dealers and manufacturers, as well as expert seminars on dozens of topics relevant to the motorcycle industry. The convention generates considerable broadcast and print media coverage, in addition to the legions of blogs where highlights of the show are shared.
Assuming the terms of attendance are acceptable, Americade will mark the first time Wheelies will be demonstrated in North America, and represents a strategic opportunity for World Moto to interface with American manufacturers, distributors, and consumers who represent a key market for global sales.
World Moto's CEO, Paul Giles, stated, "Americade represents one of the greatest celebrations of motorcycle culture in the world, and we are very excited to be given an invitation to engage the American audience in discussions of new technologies that will enhance the freedom and self expression that is the hallmark of this industry."
