RoboVault Honored as One of the Most Secure Storage Facilities in the World by AXA Art: Global Risk Assessment Platform
February 3, 2014 - Ft. Lauderdale, FL
FT. LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwired - February 03, 2014) - RoboVault, Florida's premier high-tech, ultra secure automated storage facility, re-certified as an ArtProtect approved art storage facility, with a 'Superior' score in an AXA Art, Global Risk Assessment Platform (GRASP) survey.
Scoring seven points higher than their previous review, RoboVault's cutting edge technology, impeccable climate control and state-of-the-art security systems renders the facility resistant to theft, harsh elements, vandalism and fire -- even CAT 5 hurricanes with winds up to 200 mph. Areas including access controls, environmental monitoring, building engineering and construction, and inventory control were elements taken into consideration during the survey, which evaluates the operations and policies of museum and warehouse facilities to assure the optimal safety of contents.
To obtain the ranking, an independent security risk surveyor visited the RoboVault facility, evaluating specific risk/safety factors such as: physical security including design and construction, manned security, electronic security, fire detection and suppression, environmental controls, inventory and asset controls including hanging and installation of art, institutional policies and procedures, management and oversight controls, and contingency and emergency planning. The term of the designation is three years.
"This superior score on the AXA Art: GRASP survey is a true accomplishment that speaks to our commitment to offer only the highest level of security, service, and experience every day, to every client," said President and General Manager of RoboVault Susan McGregor. "Our clients expect nothing less than perfection and know they can count on us for unequaled security and privacy to protect their most precious assets."
RoboVault is uniquely prepared to manage specialized needs and requests of their clientele, offering unique features such as a Fine Art and Antique Services division staffed with highly experienced professionals to safely package, crate, transport, and install high value items in homes, on yachts, or at corporate offices. Onsite, RoboVault incorporates additional levels of security including state-of-the art biometric fingerprint scanning and keyed entry. A backup generator can power the facility for two full weeks in the case of a power outage.
The Global Risk Assessment Survey is provided through AXA Art Group, a globally operating specialty art and collectibles insurance company offering tailor-made coverage solutions for private and corporate collections, museums, galleries, conservators, artists and historic properties.
