AssetWorks Introduces AiM(TM) Energy Management Suite (EMS)

February 3, 2014 - San Antonio, Texas

AssetWorks, a leader in intelligent workplace management, today announced the general availability of AiM™ Energy Management Suite (EMS), the latest addition to AssetWorks' broader integrated workplace management system (IWMS) offering. AiM EMS is comprised of three fully-integrated components that together offer the preeminent solution for tracking, analyzing, managing and reporting on energy consumption from a single point regardless of platform:

-- AiM Energy Management - Helps organizations effectively manage utility
bills (utility vendors, vendor bills and tariff schedules), meters
(internal meter management and tracking energy consumption for spaces),
and customer invoicing (virtual meters, rate generation, account/rate
schedules, vendor pass-through and invoice generation).
-- AiMStack - Helps organizations manage building automation system (BAS)
data, overlay BAS and meter data to monitor building or equipment
performance, measure the performance attributes of equipment
(irrespective of vendor) and write analytics against this data.
-- AiM IQ for EMS - The business intelligence tool for AiM EMS that
provides reporting models and pre-built dashboard overlays that tie
consumption and cost data together. Users can compare budgeted to actual
spend, create annual comparisons, measure energy utilization intensity
(EUI) and normalization, and perform benchmarking.

"Most organizations devote over 30% of OPEX to energy spend, which by itself is a staggering figure," said Ken Slaughter, Senior Vice President, AssetWorks. "AiM Energy Management Suite offers our customers a powerful, fully integrated commercial-off-the-shelf solution for identifying energy and operational inefficiencies, potentially helping them to slash energy consumption costs by as much as 20% to 43% each year. It's the most sustainable and actionable solution on the market. At the same time, it's the least intrusive-it doesn't force you to replace equipment, it simply ensures that existing equipment is operating properly. AiM EMS fosters greater visibility, transparency and accountability, and that enables our customers to become more efficient and self-sustaining."
