Premier Holding Announces 240-Volt Version of Award-Winning LiteOwl

March 6, 2013 - Tustin, CA

Premier Holding Corp. (the "Company") (OTCQB: PRHL) and its president and CEO, Randall Letcavage, were proud to announce today the completion of the development of a 240-volt version of its award-winning LiteOwl energy savings device specifically designed for streetlights. Premier Holding Corp.; its subsidiary, Energy Efficiency Experts ("E3"); and its licensees will immediately begin marketing this product. The product development is very timely with the recent acquisition of The Power Company USA, LLC, and its list of commercial clients and prospects.

"The LiteOwl is designed to attach to existing HID streetlights and provides an immediate 20 percent to 25 percent energy savings. It is a cost-effective alternative to ripping out existing lamps and replacing them with emerging technologies which may not have passed the test of time. This new 240-volt version of the LiteOwl dramatically expands the market for this technology," said Letcavage. "It virtually doubles the number of streetlights for which our technology is compatible."

In 2011, the LiteOwl was named a Top Product by building and facility executives who participated in a national survey conducted by Building Operating Management magazine. The Building Operating Management Top Products Award winners were selected by ballots sent to facilities professionals responsible for the management of commercial, government, educational, retail, medical, hospitality and industrial buildings. A total of 557 products that appeared in the magazine or on between Oct. 1, 2010, and Sept. 30, 2011, were judged. Readers were asked to select their choices for Top Products that met the criteria of innovation and usefulness to facility managers. Based on reader votes, the LiteOwl was selected as a top pick.

Letcavage added, "With all the emerging technologies in lighting efficiencies, the savvy decision maker is wise to wait while these various options sort themselves out and mature. While they wait, they can install the LiteOwl on their existing lamps and start saving energy immediately. It is an honor to have this fully mature technology elevated above all the other emerging lighting efficiency choices by people who make the purchasing decisions for their facilities, namely the readers of Building Operating Management magazine."

The technology is the basis for some of the most energy-efficient lighting control products within the industry for existing HID lamps, providing reliable, cost-effective solutions. The various products based on this technology include the E-Series (energy management modules for commercial and industrial buildings, high bay and high mast indoor or outdoor lighting), LiteHawk (energy saving lighting controls for strings of street lights, parking lot lights and lighted outdoor media signage) and the LiteOwl (energy saving lighting controls for individual street lights with standard photocells). These products allow lighting users to enjoy significant reductions in their energy consumption without the high degree of complexity, cost and risk often associated with emerging, untested and ever-changing lighting retrofit strategies.

Making some of the most efficient lamps in the world even more efficient, these lighting controls are elegant upgrades to existing lighting systems.

As reported last year, Muni-Fed Energy, Inc., has the exclusive right to sell the LiteOwl lighting power controller through its well-established relationships in the municipal, federal and utility provider markets.

"All of us at Muni-Fed Energy are very excited with this new version of the LiteOwl and have had clients waiting for its release," stated Phil Bowman, president and CEO of Muni-Fed Energy. "We are confident about the potential of success in integrating this new version of the LiteOwl technology for our clients running 240-volt streetlights. We have experienced an excellent reception to the 120-volt version and this new version allows us to reach more of our client base."
