Omnigon Receives Interactive Media Award
December 17, 2013 - NEW YORK, NY
Omnigon was honored last week with an Interactive Media Award, recognizing outstanding achievement in web design and development. Omnigon received an Outstanding Achievement Award for its submission of CONCACAF's redesigned website.
Omnigon nominated CONCACAF, the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football, for the website redesign which launched in advance of the 2013 Gold Cup. Omnigon designed and delivered a web-based platform that allowed CONCACAF to publish and display articles, video and live game data in both English and Spanish. Additionally, they created a live gaming experience using both archived and current statistical information.
"Omnigon was honored to be recognized by the Interactive Media Awards for our work with CONCACAF," said Becki Wronko, Director of Client Management at Omnigon. "Our team worked hand in hand with theirs to design and develop an innovative product both parties are proud of."
"It is with great pleasure that we received the news of this award and we want to thank those who chose CONCACAF.com for this prestigious recognition," said Enrique Sanz, General Secretary. "This is a true testament to the hours of hard work and dedication devoted by the Omnigon and CONCACAF teams to a platform that has changed the way we interact with fans of our sport across the region and the world."
