ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - December 17, 2013) - "Making waves for New Yorkers and the well-heeled Tri-state area, Vacation Express [VE] has taken risk block seats and added exclusive charter flights -- who would have believed it just 12 months ago," said Kevin Hernandez, Founder and now VP of Marketing and Digital Strategy for Vacation Express, Inc.

"When consolidation occurs among unlikely partners, cracks appear and VE is well positioned to fill in those cracks and grow its footprint quickly with former Travel Impressions, Movia Howell, among others," he continued. From Vacation Express' perspective, new opportunities have risen and have the chance to work with "the best of the best" such as Movia, with more to join soon.

Movia Howell began her career in the travel industry in 1980 with Gogo Worldwide Vacations where she started in the Documents Department and within 9 months was promoted to the Top Accounts Desk where she was responsible for servicing the company's top producers. She joined Air Jamaica Vacations in 2000 as a Business Development Manager for Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx where she worked diligently and was successful in increasing market share year over year. In 2003, Howell joined Air Jamaica as an Account Executive for the New York Region and aggressively increased sales in both the ethnic and leisure markets until April 2010 when Air Jamaica was sold. Later in 2010 she joined Travel Impressions as Business Development Manager for Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island, her territory grew to include Northern New Jersey.
