Metso to rebuild a complete crushing and screening plant for Sablières Malet, France

Metso will rebuild a complete crushing and screening plant for anaggregates producer Sablieres Malet in Southern France. The new plant willreplace an old plant destroyed in fire in 2012. The value of the order isapproximately EUR 8 million.

When completed, the plant capacity will be 850 metric tons per hour. Thenew plant will be fed by trains from different deposits. The feedingcapacity will be 1,200 metric tons per hour and it will produce differentsized aggregates for road and concrete.

The supply consists of a complete plant including cone crushers, screensand conveyors. In addition to the equipment, the contract includes projectmanagement, on-site supervisory services for the installation andcommissioning, and on-site training for the operating personnel.

The order is included in Mining and Construction's first quarter 2013orders received. The delivery will be completed in early 2014.
