Krames StayWell CEO George Parker to Retire; Trent Sterling Named as Successor

May 13, 2013 - Yardley, PA

Krames StayWell (KSW), the nation's leading health care communications and patient engagement company, announced today that Chief Executive Officer, George Parker, will retire effective June 30, 2013. Mr. Parker will remain a member of the KSW Board of Directors. Trent Sterling was named as his successor by Bill Goldberg, Chief Executive Officer of parent company, MediMedia, and the KSW Board of Directors.

Mr. Goldberg said, "When the idea of creating Krames StayWell from three successful MediMedia divisions was first conceived in January 2011, the Board of Directors knew that George was exactly the right thoughtful, strategic and intelligent leader to steer the company immediately to a position of great market strength and competitiveness. Under George's leadership and vision, KSW has become a truly world class organization. We would like to extend our appreciation to George for his significant contributions to the company. We are delighted that he has agreed to remain on the KSW Board going forward, and we look forward to his ongoing contributions to the future success of the company."

"It has been a privilege to lead KSW to its position as the nation's leading health care communications and patient engagement company," said Mr. Parker. "The future potential of Krames StayWell has never been brighter as we continue to invest in new products and services. I believe that we are entering the next evolutionary phase of the company, and the time is now right to hand the reins over to the enormously talented group of executives in place to lead our operations, with Trent at the helm."

Mr. Sterling has served as President of the Health Solutions Group of KSW since its inception in January 2011, and prior to that, served as President and CEO of StayWell Custom Communications, Health Ink, and StayWell Interactive, all MediMedia companies. "Trent's promotion to Chief Executive Officer of KSW is part of a carefully considered succession plan," said Mr. Goldberg, "Trent is a highly strategic and forward-thinking leader whose vision and drive have helped lead KSW to its position of market leadership today. It will be a pleasure to watch the company continue to thrive under his exemplary leadership."

"Krames StayWell is at the forefront of health care communications and driving patient engagement through leading-edge technology and data analytics," said Mr. Sterling. "I am excited to be leading this exceptional company at this important time in its evolution. Our focus on clients has never been sharper. We are rapidly introducing new innovations to support the emerging accountable care, data analytic, and population health management objectives of our customers, and we remain poised to meet enterprise-wide communication needs with a speed and scale that will deliver unparalleled value and results. I am honored to have worked alongside George, and am energized by the opportunity to lead what I consider to be the finest, most talented team in the industry as we continue to innovate, drive value for our clients, and set the standard for health care communications and consumer engagement."

Mr. Sterling originally joined MediMedia in 2001 through its acquisition of DoHealth, a pioneer e-health company he co-founded in 1996. Prior to DoHealth, he worked in Arthur Andersen's Healthcare Consulting Practice, Brim Healthcare, and Medicode/Ingenix. He holds masters' degrees in both health care administration and business administration from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Utah.
