Health Services, Inc. Selects PMG Revenue Cycle Management & Billing Services

Priority Management Group, Inc. (PMG), a leading supplier of revenue cycle management and consulting services to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), has entered into an agreement to serve Health Services, Inc. (HSI), of Montgomery, Alabama.

PMG will provide HSI with:

  • A comprehensive suite of revenue cycle services in areas such as reporting, billing software maintenance, denial management and claims clearinghouse
  • Consulting services, including a full, onsite operational assessment to improve effectiveness and efficiency of front-end billing processes
  • Semi-annual in-service training sessions to ensure appropriate coding by physicians

HSI spans 9 clinic locations serving more than 35,000 patients a year. The health center offers a wide range of primary health, behavioral health, specialty and dental care services in addition to lab, pharmacy and specialty referral programs. Since its founding over 40 years ago, the organization has steadily increased the number of patients served, unduplicated encounters, locations and programs delivered in its service area.

A 330-funded grantee, HSI serves clients regardless of their ability to pay. The FQHC approached PMG for assistance across many areas, including claims processing, NextGen system management, billing staff training, lag time related to cash flow, reporting, benchmarking and challenges associated with a complex billing process.
