Enfo Zipper launches the Next Generation of self-service portal

April 9, 2013 - London

The all new ZervicePoint is the next generation self-service portals, which are making it extremely easy for organizations to create and offer automated services to their employees. Next Generation ZervicePoint by Enfo Zipper has support for both public and private cloud and powerful connectors to other systems the new portal redefine the market for automated self-service.

Enfo Zipper have been doing consulting services for a decade, delivering cutting edge IT infrastructure and self-service. And automated self-service undoubtedly has that potential.

- Looking on the market, we asked ourselves two years ago why not more companies do offer self-service to their employees, says Karl-Johan Enlund, Enfo Zipper`s product manager for ZervicePoint, and continues: and for those companies who did, why didn't they offer more services, since the benefits of automated self-service are so many?

- We at Enfo Zipper felt frustrated and asked ourselves what's really holding them back? But the answer stared at us with an obviousness that almost made us feel stupid. The services should be done by the customers themselves, not us as an IT-company, so we had to change our product to reflect this and make it easy for customers to create and maintain services, Enlund says.

With Enfo Zipper`s long experience in IT infrastructure and self-service and with some of the brightest IT experts, we set our mission to put self-service into the hands of everyone. Automated self-service should be so easy that anyone at any time should be able creating any service they want. Simpler, smoother, smarter.

Connecting your form to the workflow is as simple as choosing from a drop-down list. ZervicePoint`s service catalogue can be accessed from any device.

Ordering the services is just as simple as it was to create them. Browse and order services as in an ordinary web shop and the portal has a shopping cart function if ordering more services at a time. The new portal can be executed both from a public cloud (Microsoft Windows Azure) or a private cloud on premises leaving customers to choose what fits them best.
