E Condos: Second Phase Coming This Fall

July 2, 2013 - Toronto

The second phase of the groundbreaking luxury E Condos at Yonge and Eglinton is set to begin this fall, developers Bazis Inc., Metropia and RioCan formalized this week.

The announcement follows the adjacent E Condos Tower reaching 85% sales target. The Midtown Toronto condos of phase two will begin in the $200,000 range.

Its location is a paramount draw. E Condos is connected via a weather-protected walkway to Yonge & Eglinton Center and Yonge subway line, seamlessly linking E Condo residents to downtown museums, the financial district and PATH.

The project has already carved out an edgy-yet-sophisticated niche among watchers of Toronto's cityscape, and has proven a popular accommodation choice for local professionals. One VIP preview event had to be split into three separate sessions due to crowd overflow. In many ways, the E Condos development has become the new celebrity of Midtown Toronto.

Apart from a prime location, architect Rosario Varacalli's two iconic towers have prompted much critical acclaim for their sleek design and cantilevered glass pool jutting out from the 31st floor. The Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood itself is reveling in what's been branded a "residential renaissance," and is quickly becoming famed for its nightlife, eating, shopping and all-round entertainment.

"E Condos isn't merely located at Yonge and Eglinton; it's set to become an integral part of it," according to Veronika Belovich, director of sales and marketing for Bazis. The towers are constructed around a dynamic open public piazza, uniting the structures with the surrounding neighborhood. "This unique mix of exclusivity and inclusiveness is set to make the E Condos development one of Toronto's coolest, chicest spots," said Belovich.

Condominiums themselves range from 400 to 1200 sq ft. and are available in a range of layouts including 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom plus den, 2 bedroom, and 2 bedroom plus den. Large windows and balconies feature throughout.

Residents of the second phase of E Condos will enjoy interiors designed by the acclaimed Mike Niven. He has created an exclusive kitchen cabinetry line, available in a range of colors. Each condominium also comes equipped with state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, high-end bathrooms, washer and dryer, and security alarm system.
