Dhiraj Rajaram, CEO of Mu Sigma Named to Techweek Top 100

May 13, 2013 - Chicago, IL

Mu Sigma (http://www.mu-sigma.com), the largest pure-play provider of decision sciences and analytics solutions for global enterprise customers, announced today Dhiraj Rajaram, CEO as a Techweek100 honoree and special guest at the 2013 Techweek Conference and Expo. The Techweek100 identifies those individuals who are impacting the business and technology landscape on a significant scale in the Chicago/Midwest region, chosen by the Techweek community, the Techweek Advisory Boards, and the Techweek team.

"Being recognized as a top industry leader in the technology space is a great honor. Techweek reflects a renewed culture of innovation, and I am happy to be recognized among an outstanding list of individuals in the Chicago-area," said Dhiraj Rajaram, CEO of Mu Sigma. "Big Data is a term that has received widespread attention. The dynamic nature of business problems often forces companies to try to make decisions in unclear conditions, very rapidly. They want to use data to make better decisions, but often don't know how. Many organizations feel paralyzed by the amount of data they have -- they are drowning in data, yet are thirsty for answers. Mu Sigma works closely with businesses to best leverage their Big Data analytics initiatives."

The Techweek100 includes those managing fast-growing technology companies, prominent sector investors, key contributing enablers of the digital ecosystem, those at the forefront of creating new technology platforms, and other innovators that bring surprising new ideas to an expanding field. Past honorees have included Sanjay Jha, Chairman & CEO, Motorola Mobility, Brian Fitzpatrick, head engineer, Google, and Mike Evans, Co-founder, GrubHub.

"The Techweek team is proud to unveil this year's list of the Techweek100, which brings together a group of individuals significantly impacting the local technology ecosystem," said Iain Shovlin, Chairman of Techweek's Board of Directors. "By promoting each honoree's accomplishments, Techweek fulfills its mission to help showcase, celebrate and enable the local innovation ecosystem."

Techweek Chicago is the largest technology conference and expo in the Midwest. This year, along with their presenting sponsor, Motorola, Techweek will welcome 8,000 attendees representing 2,250 brands, 120 speakers and 150 exhibitors to the Merchandise Mart June 27-29. New this year, the conference will feature multi-session summit topics highlighting key technology industry trends in the areas of education, media, finance, health & wellness, fashion, and international expansion.

The Techweek100 honorees are invited to the Techweek Conference & Expo as special guests, highlighted at the Techweek VIP party and included in Techweek100 media, both online and in print.
