BlogHer Co-Founder Joins Leaders From Public, Private and Non-Profit Sectors at Leading Event Committed to Solving Childhood Obesity Crisis in America

BlogHer, Inc., the premium cross-platform media network and publisher for women announced today their collaboration with The Partnership For A Healthier America (PHA) and its Building A Healthier Future Summit, taking place in Washington, DC, March 6-8, 2013.

BlogHer Co-Founder Elisa Camahort Page will join Dean L. Kamen, Ken Mehlman, and Fortune columnist Tory Newmyer to judge the End Childhood Obesity Innovation Challenge, an annual contest in which the winner receives $10,000 and a chance to turn their idea into reality. Camahort Page will also speak on a panel titled "Media's Impact On Driving Demand," a discussion about how to leverage media most appropriately to help improve food choices.

The BlogHer community will also be represented at the Summit by BlogHer editor Melissa Ford, Blogalicious founder Stacey Ferguson, and culinary expert and blogger Amie Valpone, who will judge The Great American School Lunch Challenge. Valpone is a personal chef, culinary marketing consultant, whole living expert, professional recipe developer and food writer.

BlogHer is proud to participate in the Building A Healthier Future Summit, and supports their mission to improve the health of our nation's youth.
