Adslot Launches Programmatic Direct Marketplace With World's Leading Publishers

October 22, 2013 - MIAMI, FL

Adslot Limited (ASX: ADJ), a global provider of display media trading technology, announced today at the Digiday Publishing Summit that it has launched the Adslot Media Marketplace, a programmatic direct marketplace for premium, guaranteed inventory featuring some of the world's largest publishers.

The Adslot Media Marketplace provides media agencies with direct access to guaranteed inventory from a diverse catalogue of premium publishers, in addition to advanced planning tools which profile inventory by context, placement and audience. The Marketplace is integrated with audience profile data including comScore and also allows publishers to submit their own audience data.

The Adslot Media Marketplace ensures buyers can continue to leverage their direct publisher relationships whilst maintaining the brand safety and contextual relevance critical to their advertisers. And that publishers can access the significant efficiency benefits of trading programmatically whilst preserving their forward, guaranteed business model.

The Marketplace reduces the time and cost of administering the RFP process for buyers and sellers, and streamlines direct buying across multiple sites. Integrations with publisher ad servers mean inventory availability can be confirmed in real-time, reducing the need for back and forth between buyer and seller whilst transforming the buying, launching and managing of display campaigns into a seamless process.

Adslot CEO Ian Lowe said, "We are thrilled to be launching the Adslot Media Marketplace today. It is universally understood that the buying and selling of display advertising suffers from structural inefficiencies. Today's launch connects the toolsets of online publishers and media agencies, allowing us to provide the significant benefits of technology driven efficiency whilst ensuring that the direct relationship both parties value is preserved. Greater efficiency means media buyers and sellers can trade with less overhead and greater speed, driving value for advertisers and growth for the industry.

"In the context of recent public statements from international media agency groups announcing their commitment to an aggressive migration of ad spend to programmatic channels, we see the transition to trading through platforms such as Adslot Media as inevitable. We expect this will become the most profitable, efficient sales channel for the trading of guaranteed display inventory globally."

The Adslot Media Marketplace opens for general use on Oct 22.
