ARGONAUT Adds New Creative Director


October 7, 2013 - SAN FRANCISCO, CA

San Francisco-based ad agency ARGONAUT announced today the appointment of creative director Chean Wei Law, who brings a wealth of experience as interactive design director at Crispin Porter + Bogusky and as art director with Wieden + Kennedy and JWT.

Law most recently worked with Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Boulder leading the design department where he oversaw a plethora of brands, such as Kraft's Jell-O and Mac and Cheese, Microsoft, Old Navy, Domino's Pizza and Coke Zero. Highlights from his work at Crispin Porter + Bogusky includes Jell-O Mood Meter -- a real-time social media stunt monitoring smiley and sad face emoticons while broadcasting the general mood of the Twitter-verse -- as well as Best Buy Coverage Tracker -- a map of signal data collected from real people. Law also led design of Kraft Mac & Cheese "Dinner Not Art," a tongue-in-cheek campaign encouraging digital macaroni art with a free iPad app, and received over 20 international awards from Cannes Lions International Festival and One Show to name a few.
