July 11, 2012 - Brookston, IN

Terra Drive Systems (TDS Drive), a leading designer and manufacturer of steerable hydraulic drive systems for on- and off-highway motorized specialty equipment, announces today the addition of Jake Schoon to the new Ag Dealer Aftermarket sales team. TDS Drive has established a new Ag Dealer Aftermarket Sales department in an effort to better service and support their Mud Hog Aftermarket Dealer Network. This new department helps to support their renewed focus on Mud Hog and the Ag Industry as a whole.

Schoon graduated in 2009 from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, where he majored in Ag Business and Finance Option and belonged to the Hoof and Horn Club. He also attended Joliet Junior College in Joliet, Illinois, where he studied Ag Transfer and Ag Finance, served on the livestock judging team, and belonged to the Student Agriculture Association.

Schoon's work experience has been highly focused in sales and agriculture. For the past two years, Schoon has worked as a sales consultant at Castongia's Inc., a John Deere tractor dealership in Demotte, Indiana, where he sold 1.5 million dollars worth of equipment in his first year, and continued to raise sales numbers throughout his career. Previously, he worked for two years as a Dealer Locator at ADM Alliance Nutrition, a livestock feed importing company in Kouts, Indiana, where he advised 4-H families about livestock projects and nutrition.

Terra Drive Systems is a diversified global manufacturing company, developing and supplying aftermarket fluid driven drivetrain solutions and Tier I components to OEM's and commercial markets worldwide. Their culture is based upon lean manufacturing and initiatives of personal continuous improvement, through which TDS Drive encourages its employees to reach for a higher level of greatness. This allows for excellence not only in the products they manufacture but in the people they employ and customers they serve. The end result is a company you can depend on, one that eliminates waste in its processes and provides superior products, quality and value for its customers.
