Structural Enhancement Technologies Corp. Announces Appointment of New President/CEO to Assist in Challenger Brands Acquisition

June 14, 2012 - Bohemia, NY

Structural Enhancement Technologies Corp. (PINKSHEETS: EMWW) announces that Jeff Gates has been appointed as President and a Director of the Structural Enhancement Technologies Corp., effective immediately. Mr. Gates will be tasked with the responsibility to complete the transaction with and to integrate Challenger Brands Corp. and expand operations.

"I am pleased to announce that Jeff Gates will be taking over as the CEO immediately. His personal biography, his extensive experience heading public companies, and his background in bottling makes him the perfect fit for Structural Enhancement Technologies Corp. to integrate Challenger Brands into the Company," commented Andy Mazzone current CEO of EMWW. Mr. Mazzone continued, "Whether it was playing sports for The Citadel, his work with the government, or his own entrepreneurial career, Jeff has had success wherever he has gone. Even though I am stepping down as CEO, I remain a Director and shareholder, so I am confident that the company will be another in a long line of Jeff Gates success stories. I wish him the best of luck."

"When I was brought the opportunity to become CEO of Structural Enhancement Technologies Corp. and the responsibility for the acquisition of Challenger Brands into the Company, I immediately recognized the unique opportunity that existed," commented Jeff Gates. "Challenger Brands is in a high growth industry that is receiving significant government support due to its positive impact on the environment. Not only is this a profitable business it has a long shelf life. With Oil prices near all time highs and demand increasing there is a need for the type of product that Challenger Brands will be producing. I have deep knowledge and understanding of the bottling business so, and pardon the pun, this is one challenge I could not turn down. I am pleased to be associated with and look forward to growing the Challenger Brands," Mr. Gates went on to say.

Jeff Gates has a varied and distinguished background both in Government service and business. After playing athletics at The Citadel Military Academy, Mr. Gates attended Harvard University for a time. He then entered Government Service with the Federal Bureau of Investigation where he worked in a highly classified program. After successfully completing his Government work, he recognized the demand and growth in the water bottling industry, so he started Berkshire Springs. Over the next 10 years he built Berkshire Springs into a highly profitable entity which he then sold to DS Waters. From there he was hired by Crystal Rock Vermont Pure, of Watertown Ct. as VP of Sales & Operations to build its water division. While at Crystal Rock Vermont Pure he built his division from 7-million in sales to 65-million. He was then hired by Polar Adirondack Beverages as President of its water division. He expanded the division into a multi product, profitable division which is currently still operating for the company today. He was then asked to take over as CEO of Chester Mountain Spring Water Inc./Arctic Bottling Co., a 10 year old struggling family company. After restructuring and turning it into a profitable entity, he prepared the negotiations and the company was sold at a profit to DS Waters. He then invested as a principal and took over as CEO of Water Boy Corporation, once again a struggling water bottling company. After successfully keeping the company out of receivership, he restructured and repositioned the company to be sold. He led the negotiation for the sale of the company in which two competing companies vied for the acquisition, with Nestle Waters emerging as the victor. He sold the company at a substantial profit. He then started America's Home Best Delivery in which, he successfully negotiated with the Nestle Foods Corporation, to become the only five gallon direct delivery service for their flagship brand Poland Springs. That business is currently operating today and Jeff remains CEO. It will have a synergistic relationship with Challenger Brands.
