New York League of Conservation Voters to Present Environmental Champion Award to Bombardier

The New York League of Conservation Voters, which works to make the environment a top political priority in New York State, will present its 2012 Environmental Champion Award to Bombardier at its upcoming benefit in New York City.

Raymond Bachant, President of Bombardier Transportation North America, will accept the award at NYLCV's 2012 "Celebrating a Greener Skyline" cocktail party, which will take place on Monday, Dec. 3 from 6-8 p.m. at the New York Yacht Club, 37 W. 44th Street.

Joseph J. Lhota, Chairman and CEO of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority - North America's largest transportation network - will serve as the event's keynote speaker. Mr. Lhota will join a who's who of leaders in the worlds of business, government and philanthropy for this fundraising event.
