Heartland Payment Systems(R) Hires First Sales Professional, Jodi Mork, From Tallahassee Recruitment and Awareness Building Campaign

Heartland Payment Systems (NYSE: HPY), one of the nation's largest payments processors, today announced that it has hired Jodi Mork as a relationship (sales) manager in Tallahassee, Fla. Mork will be responsible for expanding Heartland's merchant customer base in Tallahassee through the sales of Heartland services such as credit card processing, gift marketing programs, payroll processing and more.

A Tallahassee resident, Mork is the first new hire in Tallahassee as a result of Heartland's targeted recruitment and awareness building campaign ( that began in February. The campaign included print, transit, television and radio advertisements, billboards, digital marketing, social media and public relations to help recruit, hire and build a local sales force, as well as to educate local merchants on the company's core services.

"Jodi's extensive and diverse sales background will be an asset to Heartland as the company looks to expand its presence in the Tallahassee marketplace," said Moriah Murphy, Heartland's director of marketing for the Tallahassee region. Bringing more than 10 years of sales and marketing experience across several industries, Mork has worked as a marketing outreach specialist with WellCare Health Plans, assistant executive director for Compass Management & Consulting, sales representative with Merck & Co. and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, and as assistant executive director of Harris Management Group.

A graduate of Florida State University, Mork is actively involved with several Tallahassee area organizations including the Tally Awards, the local chapter of the American Cancer Society, Florida State Varsity Club, Tallahassee Little Theater, Tallahassee Society of Association Executives and more.
