Fairchild Controls Launches Online Store Containing Full Range of Aftermarket Parts

June 20, 2012 - Frederick, MD

Fairchild Controls, an EADS North America company, today announced the launch of a new online parts store, shop.fairchildcontrols.com. The site, which supports current and legacy product lines, contains aftermarket products for aircraft cooling systems, air drive units and air turbine motors.

Prior to the launch of the online store, customers did not have online access to the full parts catalogue and were required to use purchase orders for all transactions.

"By streamlining the purchasing process and accepting credit cards, the site demonstrates our ongoing commitment to improving customer service worldwide," said Peter J. Borgel, president of Fairchild Controls. "Many of our customers know exactly what they need, and now we can take care of those requests more efficiently."

To meet anticipated requirements, the company maintains a large dedicated inventory of replacement components and aftermarket parts. Orders placed through the user-friendly online store can be filled quickly from this ready-to-ship inventory.

Fairchild Controls continues to provide a fully staffed and qualified customer support team, which is available to customers around the clock for help with spare parts, repair and overhaul and technical support. Highest-priority items, including Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, are handled by a team of dedicated AOG customer care and technical support specialists, available 24 hours a day via the Fairchild Controls global AOG emergency hotline.
