Duncan-Williams Advisors Use Socialware for Successful Social Business Engagement

March 7, 2012 - MEMPHIS, TN

Duncan-Williams, Inc., a privately owned full service broker-dealer and one of the largest woman-owned firms in the US, announced today that it has partnered with Socialware, the leader in social media compliance and engagement to provide advisors and employees access to compliant social engagement. Duncan-Williams advisors can now safely leverage social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, to build personal relationships and hold valuable conversations with clients and prospects.

"We are so excited about this partnership with Socialware," said Duncan F. Williams, President and CEO of Duncan-Williams, Inc. "As we continue to expand our marketplace, we are being aggressive in the implementation of cutting-edge technology to give our employees all available tools for providing enhanced service to our clients."

"As consumers continue to use social networks as a consistent means of interaction and communication, these channels have become a critical venue for business," said Chad Bockius, CEO of Socialware. "Personal relationships are important in the Financial Services industry, and each individual advisor needs to build a rapport with their clients. Duncan-Williams has joined the leaders in the industry which will benefit from proactively supporting employees in social media initiatives."

After reviewing several different vendors for social media compliance and engagement solutions, Duncan-Williams chose to work with Socialware for an initial pilot program, which elicited a positive response from participating advisors. Duncan-Williams now offers all of its advisors the Voices product from Socialware, which enables strategic and measureable social media campaigns and is built on the Socialware Compass platform, the leading compliance platform in the industry.

"We recognized that Social Media is not just a fad and would need to be an integral part of our business moving forward. We wanted to provide our advisors with the right tools to keep with the change in how consumers prefer to communicate and share information," said Jared Wall, Business Development Officer and lead on the social business implementation. "We were looking for a success partner, not just an archiving vendor. Socialware's depth of experience in the industry and their superior products led us to determine they were the best partners to accompany us on this journey."
