Altitude Digital Partners and FilmAnnex.com Bring the Internet to Classrooms in Afghanistan

August 2, 2012 - DENVER, CO

Altitude Digital Partners (ADP), the premier digital ad technology platform is proud to announce its partnership with Francesco Rulli's FilmAnnex.com and The Afghan Development Project to build Internet classrooms in Afghanistan. #85 in the Quantcast Top 100, FilmAnnex.com is an online independent film distribution platform for filmmakers and content-creators around the globe.

Inspired by the nature and scope of Film Annex's philanthropy work Jeremy Ostermiller's team at ADP was determined to become more involved, and in addition to joining Rulli's Afghan awareness campaign the ad tech firm also began providing financial backing for the Afghan Development Project. Ostermiller and Rulli share the vision of creating a self sustaining digital industry which can help support Afghanistan's education system and economy.

With the efforts of thought leaders Rulli and Ostermiller, the project has made huge strides to help communities in Afghanistan advance their education systems. A rise in people technologically skilled gives Afghanistan a brighter economic forecast. The Afghan Development Project began building Internet classrooms by consolidating efforts and relationships with organizations such as Cisco Systems, Afghan Citidel, the UN and companies similar to ADP. In only a few months, after a series of blogs and interviews, Film Annex had established the project among the international community. The progress can be seen firsthand on the Afghan Development WebTV channel.

Understanding the volume of countries in Central Asia and other developing regions of the world that are in dire need of an updated technology infrastructure and education program, Ostermiller and Rulli plan on utilizing a similar technology platform to provide aid to several developing countries. Continued success in Afghanistan will provide homed in strategies for future development projects.

"I can think of several of reasons to be proud of our partnership with Film Annex. Although what I find most endearing is the opportunity the project provides by empowering Afghan women and children through technology and education," said ADP's Director of Ad Operations Ashley Paczolt.
