uBreakiFix Is First to Offer Glass Repair for Verizon iPhone 4

February 22, 2011 - ORLANDO, FL

Orlando-based Smartphone repair company uBreakiFix is the first in the U.S. to offer iPhone 4 glass repair for iPhones on the Verizon network.

Many iPhone users have discovered that accidental damage (such as broken glass) to their iPhone is not covered under the AppleCare one-year warranty. iPhone users often have no choice but to pay $500 or more for a replacement iPhone when not eligible for an upgrade. uBreakiFix, an online company with local repair centers throughout the United States, offers numerous repair options that bridge the warranty and repair gap, saving people the inconvenience of buying a new iPhone or having to deal with insurance on their phone.

"We are the first company to have the new glass, and have been prepared to repair the phone since the week the iPhone 4 was released with Verizon," stated David Reiff, Co-Founder and Vice President of uBreakiFix. "We offer a service that no one else does now, and our prices are even less than the deductible if you have insurance on your iPhone."

The Verizon iPhone 4 looks the same as the iPhone 4 with AT&T but is made up of entirely different components in order to function on the CDMA network Verizon uses instead of the GSM network utilized by AT&T. There are no real differences between the two, other than the inability to use the Internet while talking on the Verizon network.

uBreakiFix offers professional iPhone, iPod, iPad, Mac and Smartphone repair and has been in the repair business for over three years. The company is based out of Orlando, Fla., but has local repair facilities ranging from California to North Carolina and Chicago.
