Vizada Granted GSA Schedule 70 FCSA Contract

March 29, 2011 - WASHINGTON, DC

Vizada, the world's largest independent satellite communications provider, announced today that it was awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70 Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition (FCSA) contract which provides U.S. government and military customers access to its entire portfolio of mobile satellite services (MSS). Vizada is the only commercial satellite communications provider offering the full line of Inmarsat, Iridium and Thuraya products and services -- the broadest array of MSS offerings among current SIN 132-55 contractors.

"With Schedule 70, we're packaging our services precisely in the way the government buys them," said Bo Norton, Vice President of Sales for Vizada Americas. "This streamlines the procurement process so they can more quickly and cost-effectively satisfy their MSS needs. Our government customers know they can rely on Vizada to put together the right mix of service offerings to meet their critical mission goals and keep people and troops safe."

The FCSA Program, and in particular, Schedule 70 SIN 132-55, will be replacing the SATCOM II and DITCO MSS contracts when they expire in May 2012.
