ShopText Signs Patent Licensing Agreement With Helferich Patent Licensing, LLC

June 8, 2011 - Norwalk, CT

ShopText, Inc., the leader in mobile shopper marketing and loyalty solutions for brands and retailers, announced today that it signed a patent licensing agreement with Helferich Patent Licensing, LLC (HPL). Using ShopText, companies can include links in their text messages to drive consumers to websites, YouTube videos, Facebook, apps and more.

Under the terms of the agreement, ShopText is the first HPL authorized mobile marketing platform approved to offer "text to shortcode programs" on behalf of third parties -- interactive, yet simple text messaging programs that enable brands to connect consumers to websites, Facebook and YouTube videos from any TV, print, radio, in-store or packaging ad.

"ShopText's groundbreaking agreement with HPL continues its commitment to bring leading edge mobile marketing solutions to market," said Steve Roberts, CEO at ShopText. "By working with ShopText, brands and retailers can now execute their mobile marketing and consumer drive-to-web programs using HPL-licensed technology and services."
