Savantage Solutions Partners With DSI to Bring Cloud-Based Integrated Financial and Acquisition Solution to Federal Market

Lisa Kazor, CEO and President of Savantage Solutions, announced today that the company has partnered with Distributed Solutions, Inc. (DSI) to introduce an integrated financial management and acquisition solution offering to the Federal market. The new integrated offering features real-time exchange of data between two best-in-class COTS applications -- Altimate™, Savantage's FSIO-certified core financial management system, and AAMS™, DSI's automated acquisition management system. Together, the integrated solution creates a flexible, business process-oriented enterprise business solution for Federal agencies, which supports the full lifecycle of both core financial management and acquisition activities. Further, agencies can choose to implement this new solution in the cloud.

Kazor explained why the new offering would be valuable to Federal agencies. "Many Federal agencies today still do not have integration between their acquisition system and their financial system. Often when they do, the interface is poorly designed and very expensive to maintain," she continued. "We saw an opening in the market for a real-time integrated solution that is flexible, comprehensive and yet affordable, where an agency can reliably predict the full cost of ownership and would not have surprise or hidden costs again and again just for the integration. Kazor also pointed out that agencies would benefit from buying directly from the software vendors, rather than through third party integrators.
