PledgeMusic Campaign Helps SOULFEST Bolster Their Outreach Fund to Offer Discount Tickets to the Festival


April 13, 2011 - NEW YORK, NY

PledgeMusic (www.pledgemusic.com), a leading international direct-to-fan platform for raising funds for musicians to record and tour, today announced a partnership with SOULFEST, New England's premier Christian music and worship festival, to issue a call to action to support the SOULFEST Outreach Fund.

The Pledge campaign will raise money to provide deeply discounted tickets through the Outreach Fund for people who cannot afford to attend the festival. The lineup of the four day music and worship festival features the best in Christian rock including Skillet, Switchfoot, Chris Tomlin, Third Day, Jars of Clay, The Almost, Big Kettle Drum, Ed Kowalczyk of Live and many others. In addition, attendees can participate in a range of workshops, worship celebrations and recreational opportunities on-site.

SOULFEST is offering Pledgers the opportunity to pledge for a variety of limited edition items and experiences. Some of the incentives are Skillet, Chris Tomlin, Third Day and Switchfoot packs which include a meet and greet, VIP seating and other perks. Dinner and lunch backstage with the bands are also up for bid along with a signed SOULFEST guitar.

"Last year we were able to help almost 300 people attend SOULFEST through our outreach ticket," said Ryan Camp, Marketing Director of SOULFEST. "This year we are hoping to exceed that through a campaign with PledgeMusic. Pledgers who pledge $20 or more will receive a SOULFEST '11 commemorative poster along with their picture displayed in the "Thank You!" video played each day on the SF jumbo screens.
