Phizzle Names Beth Doherty Senior Vice President of Business Development

Doherty brings extensive digital sales experience to Phizzle, having led successful sales teams at a variety of industry-leading companies including THQ Wireless, Glu Mobile, SCEA (Sony PlayStation) and Analog Devices.

In her new role, Doherty reports directly to Phizzle's Chief Executive Officer, Ben Davis. Doherty will oversee the growing business development and sales teams and will be working with agencies and marketers to foster new relationships and grow existing partnerships.

Over the course of Doherty's career, she has been instrumental in building and growing the sales teams at both Fortune 500 and startups, with experience in entertainment, mobile, digital, games (retail and online) and retail. She joins Phizzle from THQ Wireless, a public company, where she served as VP of Sales, North America. Prior to THQ, Doherty worked as VP of Global Sales at Emdigo, where she established sales and partnership relationships global carries, OEM's and brand partners including the NFL and the NFL Players Association.

Previously, Doherty was VP of Sales, North America for Glu Mobile, the global publisher of mobile games, where quarter over quarter revenue increased by 100% with carriers and OEM manufacturers from $3 million to $24 million. Doherty also implemented and launched a series of products from PC to mobile.
