Patriot Energy Services LLC to Help Sponsor Valerie Mize to Release CD "Auspices" April 19th

April 13, 2011 - NEW YORK, NY

Local NYC singer/songwriter makes national news with Western New York tour. Greenwich Village chanteuse Valerie Mize ( recently opened for Paula Nelson, daughter of country music legend Willie Nelson, to benefit Mercy Flight of Western NY. After a whirlwind trip, 3 concert performances, a helicopter tour of Buffalo/Niagara, and a grand finale in renowned Babeville, home of folk music sensation Ani Difranco and her label Righteous Babe Records, Mize returns to New York City to release her debut EP "Auspices." The long awaited EP will be released April 19th. According to Steven C. Johnson, CEO of Patriot Energy Services (one of the main sponsors of the Western New York tour), he has never seen such "raw and natural talent." Mize was so well received in Buffalo that Johnson has asked her to help with his national campaign to promote green renewable energy.

After the revels of the press, from MSNBC, Buffalo News, YNN, Buffalo Rising, Art Voice, and many more from Boston to San Francisco, Johnson stated, "Valerie is an overnight sensation with this kind of national press. This new CD will be a major success; iTunes pre-release sales have already been significantly better than expected for her debut, so why not use her celebrity? Going green is a cause she is passionate about."

Mize will be performing April 19th at the Living Room, located at 154 Ludlow, in New York City's Lower East Side ( Doors open at 6:30, with no cover charge. Mize will be backed up on this special event by accomplished composer, musical director, and top session bassist Antar Goodwin, and "Samurai" Tomo Kanno on drums, along with a dozen special guests, including her "Bevy of Beauties" women's chorus, and recent winner of Chile's International Songwriter Competition, violinist, vocalist, and songwriter Sierra Noble.

Steven C. Johnson plans to attend the show with some Patriot Energy Services executives. Johnson also thanks the Western New York audiences that included such luminaries as music legend Leonard Silver, president of Amherst Records; Tony Miranda, former drummer for Madonna and producer of the Hilary Duff movie What Goes Up; Peter McGennis, director of the film Buffalo Bushido and the upcoming cop drama/jazz film Queen City; and award winning photographer Cheryl Gorski, among others.
