June 17 Webinar to Reveal "Top Social Media Tools" Poll Results and Tips -- Free Event Is Presented by NY/IABC, Dragon Search and Sarah Evans

The New York Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (NY/IABC) and have conducted an online poll of communications and marketing professionals seeking to understand how they use social media to drive organizational goals -- and which leading social media tools they use to achieve those results. Several poll results included:

  • 34% or respondents spend 3-5 hours on social media for business purposes each week
  • 55.8% of respondents don't use social media for internal or employee communications
  • 51.3% of respondents plan on shifting 10%-25% of their traditional communications budgets to social media activities in the next year
  • Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google Analytics rank as the 5 most used social media related tools
